Founded by Marty Eubank, the town Barber of over 50 years. Marty was a resident of Rena Lara, Ms and beloved member of the Clarksdale community. The shop is now owned and run by Bear Ryan, an experienced / licensed Barber and local musician.

Bear is a classically trained Barber specializing in men’s grooming - scissor cuts, clipper cuts, and beard maintenance.

Bear is also a professional musician who performs locally, regionally, and nationally. She always gives notice on the website when touring and she adds hours / availability both in advance of travel and upon her return. Please check the online schedule to see her daily, weekly, and monthly availability.

As one of the few licensed Barbers in the area, the shop can book-up quickly and a couple days in advance, especially during the holiday season, graduation, and rainy days / inclement weather - when farm work slows down.

SERVICES

  • Haircut - $30 - age 13 and up (includes lather, hot towel, razor on nape of neck + eyebrow trim, if desired)

  • Boys age 5 - 12 - $25 (please respect my age policy when booking children).

  • Beard Trim $20 - shaping of facial hair + mustache + setting lines on cheeks and neck with the use of electric clipper / trimmers

  • The shop does not offer straight-razor face shaves . All haircuts include hot lather + straight razor on nape of neck.

  • Bear is a classically trained Barber. Not a Cosmetologist. She is trained in styles traditionally considered “Men’s” cuts.

  • The shop does not have a telephone or internet
